The Kunstmühle is a huge old water mill in a small and always silent village in the middle of the German Härz. The mill is owned the tango-dance-art loving Edda Grossman. The building has a atmospheric main hall with an amazing spring dance floor, some double guest rooms and a dormitory. You will feel quickly at home between the many beautiful paintings of Edda.
Hannover -Airport is nearest, then by train to Ilsenburg (around 2 hours). Another option is Berlin Airport, than by flixbus. That is cheap, but maybe the timetable does not fit (around 3 hours). Or from Berlin by Harz-Elbe-Express (cheapest train) to Ilsenburg (again timetable has to fit, around 3 hours).
